Michael Whitehead, CEO and Founder
A data warehousing industry veteran, Michael has spent more than a decade designing and building commercial data warehouses for customers in a wide variety of industries. Prior to founding WhereScape, Michael had Asia Pacific responsibilities for data warehousing for Sequent Computer Systems, Inc.
Wayne Richmond, CTO and Founder
The co-founder of WhereScape, Wayne has extensive experience in software development, dimensional modeling and data warehousing. He has worked in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific for multinational computer vendors as well as specialist data warehousing organizations.

Mark Budzinski, Vice President of Sales
Based at WhereScape's US headquarters in Portland, Oregon, Mark is responsible for WhereScape's sales in the North American market. In his 27 year career, Mark has held sales & marketing management positions at Intel, Sequent Computer Systems, RadiSys, and Applied Microsystems. He holds an MBA, a Masters Degree in Computer Science, a BS Industrial Engineering, and is a graduate of the Buckley School of Public SpeakingScape's.
Richard Smith, Vice President of Business Development
Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Richard is responsible for WhereScape's strategic alliances and business development. Prior to joining WhereScape USA Inc., Richard was Vice President of Sales for TARGIT (US) Inc. Richard has also held sales management positions with Brio, Optimize Solutions and Niku.
Perry Sansom, Asia Pacific Vice President
Perry is responsible for WhereScapes Asia Pacific operations including sales, presales and professional services. Prior to joining WhereScape Perry held sales and executive positions with Apple Computer Inc., Compaq/Hewlett Packard, and EMC Corporation. Perry is based in WhereScapes New Zealand operation.
Marc Demarest, VP Corporate Development
Marc Demarest, widely known as the father of data marting, is the CEO of Noumenal, Inc., - a private consultancy focused on go-to-market services for intellectual property-based companies in technical and commercial markets, and overseas business development and strategy for WhereScape USA. Prior to Noumenal, Marc was Chairman and CEO of DecisionPoint Applications, Inc., the industry's leading provider of packaged data warehousing software for financial, human resources, manufacturing and distribution analysis.

John Quirk, Chairman
John Quirk has an extensive and impressive track record with 25 years involvement in the IT industry. He is a Director of Howard & Co - a strategic investment and management company. Prior to that he was the Asia Pacific CEO of the UK owned IT and management consulting company, Mi Services Group. John was also CEO of the PC reseller and network company Southmark Computers where he led its successful merger into Fujitsu. John spent his early career in Wang and Digital Equipment Corporation.
Ian McCrae
Ian McCrae is the Founder and CEO of Orion Software. He is one of 11 members of the New Zealand Government's Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Taskforce, formed to identify ways to boost the sector's economic contribution. As an industry visionary, Ian spearheaded the formation of New Zealand's Health IT Cluster, a group of 25 companies collaborating to promote New Zealand's unique software solutions overseas, increase the country's export sales and introduce new jobs to the local market.
